Meet Lou Galante, Founder

As a kinesthetic learner, I have always learned best by hands-on experiences. For this reason, I attended Beattie Career Center to pursue an education in carpentry and construction. My early experience at Beattie Career Center taught me how invaluable construction skills would be in the future when owning and potentially remodeling my own home.

Along with my passion for building, I also enjoy playing basketball. After high school, I had the privilege to play collegiate basketball at Waynesburg University. While attending university, I chose to pursue a degree in Business Finance. My degree is now invaluable in the operation of my own business, Galante Brothers.

After graduating from college, I was given the opportunity to be an assistant men’s basketball coach at LaRoche University. During this time, I also began working alongside a family friend, who helped me learn contracting as a business. As my mentor for over 10 years, I would not be where I am today without his guidance and support. Seeing how dedicated he was to his profession made me more passionate about carpentry and construction and ultimately set the foundation for the company that I operate today.

Galante Brothers was founded on the notion of strong family values. Galante Brothers originated with members of my own family, myself, and over time, we added friends who have now become part of our family. Our “family” now has the privilege of assisting so many families make their homes a safe, custom space to their specific needs. We pride ourselves in making dreams a reality.
